MODERN SLAVERY ACT STATEMENT

 

INTRODUCTION

This statement is made on behalf of Leaflet Company pursuant to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and comprises our slavery and human trafficking statement.

OUR BUSINESS

We manage a business relating to door drop planning and distribution services

OUR SUPPLY CHAIN

Our supply chain includes sub-contracting and outplacement of door drop distributions and other routine administrative tasks such as office supplies and some IT service provision within the UK.

OUR POLICY ON SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING

We are committed to ensuring there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our business and in our supply chains.

DUE DILIGENCE PROCESSES FOR SLAVERY & HUMAN TRAFFICKING

As part of our initiative to identify risks and mitigate against such risks the company considers, at senior level all operations within our organisation, within our supply chain and our trading partners to

  • Identify inappropriate employment practices
  • Identify and access other potential risk areas
  • Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring
  • Monitor potential risk areas
  • Protect whistleblowers

SUPPLIER ADHERENCE TO OUR VALUES AND ETHICS

We have always and continue to have zero tolerance to any slavery and human trafficking. In ensuring where possible all those within our supply chain trading partners and contractors comply with our values.  We operate in line with the principles of responsible sourcing, including paying employees at or over the applicable minimum or living wage.  We consider, review and monitor supply chain and trading partner compliance which will be handled by the relevant management to senior level. We believe that in all aspects of our business operations we only deal with operations who hold the same ethics as we do ourselves.

TRAINING

We ensure that throughout our operations employees are fully aware of the company’s stance on slavery and human trafficking and that such ethics are to be adhered to within our business and throughout our supply chains.  Any concerns employees may have are encouraged to be made known to management.
